The flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to Singapore on the Boeing 777 had 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board. The airline noted that three passengers were from India, but didn’t give any specifics about their situations.

The flight had to change course and make an unexpected landing in Bangkok all because of the wild turbulence and stormy weather. The authorities mentioned that a bunch of passengers got injured, and sadly, a few of them are in a really bad condition.

Is turbulence really that dangerous?

Guy Gratton, an associate professor of aviation and the environment at Cranfield University, explains that airplanes are specifically crafted to endure even the most severe turbulence, as stated by a qualified commercial pilot.
