The survival thriller Manjummel Boys has become a massive success in the Mollywood industry, grossing over Rs. 230 crores. The film’s exceptional performance at the box office has caught trade experts off guard, making it the highest-grossing Malayalam film in Tamil Nadu. Based on a true story from 2006, the movie follows the journey of young men from Manjummel who come together to save their friend stuck in Guna cave in Kodaikanal.
You can now watch Manjummel Boys on Disney Plus Hotstar in various languages such as Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, with the added option of English subtitles. The movie was released on OTT platforms just 74 days after its theatrical release. It’s worth mentioning that not only the original Malayalam version, but even the Telugu dubbed version gained immense popularity among the audience.
Chidambaram helmed the survival thriller, featuring an ensemble cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arjun Kurian in pivotal roles. The movie was produced by Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir, and Shawn Antony under the Parava Films banner, while Sushin Shyam provided the melodious tunes.
