PM Modi casts vote

This morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to a school in Ahmedabad to cast his vote for the Lok Sabha polls during the third phase of voting. The polling booth was set up at the Nishan Higher Secondary School in the Ranip locality of the city.

The Prime Minister arrived at the polling station just past 7:30 am. Union Minister Amit Shah greeted him, and together they made their way to the voting booth. A large crowd had gathered to see PM Modi, cheering and chanting slogans as he passed by.

While heading to cast his vote, he signed his name for a fan on a sketch he had made of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister stood outside the polling booth, encouraging the people of the nation to participate in the democratic process by casting their votes in significant numbers. “In our country, ‘daan’ holds immense value, and similarly, it is crucial for the citizens to exercise their voting rights to the fullest. We still have four more rounds of voting to go,” PM Modi emphasized.

The mediapersons who were tirelessly covering the elections received an important message from him as well. He advised them to prioritize their health and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Later in the day, Mr. Shah, who is running for office in Gandhinagar, went to the polling station to cast his vote, accompanied by his family members.
