Two lives were lost in Pune after a 17-year-old’s speeding Porsche crashed into the motorbike they were riding on, in a tragic incident.

After a tragic accident in Pune involving a speeding Porsche, the Juvenile Justice Board decided to release the 17-year-old driver on bail. The board required him to collaborate with the traffic police for 15 days and compose a 300-word essay on road accidents. This ruling has sparked outrage among many, who are advocating for stricter measures.

A teenager, whose dad works as a builder in Pune, was caught driving a car without a registration number. It seems he crashed into a motorcycle in the Kalyani Nagar area around 2:30 am.

A case was filed against the accused following the incident, under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Additionally, the police took action against his father and the pub for serving alcohol to a minor.

Pune police have detained the accused’s father. Moreover, they have also arrested the restaurant proprietors and the staff member responsible for serving alcohol to the minor.

My client got detained in a case registered at Yerawada police station. Fortunately, the honorable Court showed kindness by granting my client bail, but with specific conditions. We firmly believe in the ongoing investigation and will continue to cooperate with the police agencies. It is crucial for my client to strictly follow the Court’s stringent conditions. We will actively participate in the proceedings and patiently await the investigation’s conclusion, as shared by Prashant Patil, the advocate representing the minor.

Alongside the tasks of working with traffic police and writing an essay, JJB also directed the minor to seek medical assistance for alcohol cessation and to undergo psychiatric counseling.

Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa, two engineers aged 24, were tragically involved in a horrifying incident. Originally from Madhya Pradesh, they were on their way back home after a party when this terrible incident happened.
